An apparently “beered-up” 17-year-old Amish boy is in “dutch” for trying to outrun a police car after an officer tried to stop him for rolling through a stop sign.

The” chase” lasted an unimpressive 3/4 of a mile before the boy crashed the buggy trying to take a sharp turn. He then bolted on foot, but was later caught hiding in the area.

He's been charged with underage possession of alcohol, reckless endangerment, failure to stop at a stop sign, and the ever-so-common crime of "overdriving an animal."

The boy was released into the custody of reportedly unhappy parents without bail and a court date has been set.
