A 48-year-old, cross dressing Pittsburgh-area man robbed a bank wearing a woman's blond wig, fake breasts under a sweater and clown pants.

After fleeing the bank he tried to carjack a car in a nearby parking lot but the woman driver fled taking the keys. Police quickly arrested the man sitting in the parked car covered in red dye from an exploding packet in a bag of stolen money.

Police say the man robbed the bank at gunpoint, using a toy BB gun he had just shoplifted from a nearby store.

The man is charged with armed bank robbery, attempted carjacking and other crimes and is being held in the Clinton County Correctional Facility on $230,000 bail.
