Lindsay Lohan faces new bail conditions

A Beverly Hills judge has imposed new bail conditions on actress Lindsay Lohan including a SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring) ankle bracelet to detect alcohol, a ban on drinking, random weekly drug testing, and forbade her from leaving town, and must attend counseling. She’ll have a probation revocation hearing July 6.

It was Lohan's alleged failure to attend those drunk driving classes, ordered after a 2007 drunken driving conviction, that landed her back in court but she didn’t show up last week. Lohan said she lost her passport at the Cannes Film Fetival where she was promoting a film in which she portrays the 1970s porn star Linda Lovelace. and couldn’t get back for last week’s hearing. .

When Lohan was a no show last week the judge revoked her probation, issued an arrest warrant and imposed the new conditions all of which will be dealt with in July..

Lohan was not arrested when she finally arrived in Los Angeles from France Saturday because her $100,000 bond had already been posted.

The brouhaha started in 2007 when she was arrested twice on charges of driving under the influence and in the second incident also was charged with cocaine possession. She was arrested again in July 2007 two weeks after leaviung a celebrity rehab in Malibu when a woman called Santa Monica police, saying Lohan was trying to run her down with a car.
