A Utah woman has been sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for two days served for blindfolding her husband and promising him a surprise before hitting him in the head with a hammer.

The 37-year-old woman also was sentenced to probation and community service.

Her husband suffered minor injuries in the attack. The pairare still married but separated.
