When burglars broke into a 67 year-old woman’s house they got more than they bargained for. She is the mother of a Santa Barbara police Sergeant who just happens to be President of the local Police Officer’s Association so she is used to holding her own, and she did grabbing one guy and threatening the other not to try to leave while police swarmed to her home finding her holding one ina a head lock and the other cowering in a corner.

The pair says they got confused thinking they were at another address.

The Sergeant himself was on duty but entangled in another incident, heard the call but could not respond.

The pair’s being held as the incident is investigated.
