CALIFORNIA ABOUT TO STRENGTHEN CHILD MOLESTER LAW.

California is proposing new law that would put some child molesters in prison for life for a first offense. The action is prompted by the murder of 17 year-old Chelsea King. A convicted molester confessed to her murder and that of another young girl in a deal to avoid the death penalty.

The new law would also increase prison time, require lifetime parole and GPS tracking and make it illegal for registered sex offenders to visit public or private parks.

It is sad that it takes dual murders by a registered sex offender to provoke protections of citizens.
