A 21 year-old Maryland man explained to police why a gas station owner found him dangling from a ventiltion duct that he was playing hide and seek. Apparently the guy triggered the fire suppression system that coated the entire place with dry powder suppressant.

When the owner arrived he noticed something was amiss when he opened the store and spotted a pair of feet dangling from the bottom of the duct.

The game player also reportedly gave the police two false names. He is charged with two counts of submitting false information to a police officer, two counts of burglary and malicious destruction of property.

He was also wanted for failing to appear for a drug count.

He is being held in the Cecil County jail on $30,000 bail. It is unknown if he was declared the winner of his hide and seek game – one supposes a judge will decide that
