A 19 year-old Florida girl was being driven home after a friend had been arrested for DUI and had his car impounded. As she sat in the back of the police car she popped a can of beer she had in her purse. The officers were obliged to arrest her for underage drinking

She was subsequently convicted and ordered to pay cost and a $500 fine.

When asked why she would drink in the backseat of a police car she said she really didn’t have a good reason.
