A 31-year old North Carolina man was arrested for felony speeding, failure to stop for a red light and driving with a suspended license.

His excuse for driving 120 miles per hour was a call from his mother claiming his 9 year-old son was missing, and he was rushing home.

Turns out his mother did make the call as an April Fool’s joke. Police were not amused and the guys is in jail awaiting trial.
