Phone-It-In Bank Robbery Flops

A would be bank robber allegedly phoned the People’s United Bank in Fairfield, CT to inform them that they were about to robbed and demanding tellers prepare a bag of money to make his hold-up easier.

The workers called cops, who arrested the man and an accomplice in the parking lot when they arrived to collect the cash about 10 minutes later.

Police described the suspects as “not too bright.” They are in jail pending a bail hearing.
