The Martinsville (Indiana) Reporter-Times tells of the Nail family laying their mother to rest but not their grudges. .The graveside service was over and the final Amen rendered when a fist fight broke out.

Police, who were paying their respects, broke up that fight but the family feud moved to nearby Costin's Funeral Home where cousin Chad Skaggs works and a four way scuffle ensued among Ed, Dennis Nails, Dennis’ wife Debbie and Chad.

Police had to resort to stun guns to disentangle the melee.

Folks in Martinsville pretty much took the whole thing in stride and there has been more ribbing than recriminations. After 25-years the funeral director says he’s seen almost everything now.

No one was seriously hurt. Edward Nail, Dennis Nail and Deborah Nail were all arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
