Whoever said youth is wasted on the young might have been thinking of this trio of partiers.

A 19-year old UCSB student was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication when he was found by police covered with blood and talking on a cecll phione that did not have a battery. The man told police he did not know where he was, how he got there nior how he became covered with blood.

A little while later a teen aged girl sho was serving as a designated driver was arrested herelf for drunk driving. She explained that she was just trying to keep her friends safe. Police didn’t question her good intentions but, told her she was stopped when she crossed the centerline and drove straight toward them.

A 22-year old man was arrested for hit and run and related charges when his Silvarado picked slammed into another parked truck sendit crashing into two other parked vehicles. Reportedly he got out of his truck looked things over and drove away. A witness followd him and called 911.
