The trial of woman who apparently birthed a 6-opound baby boy and disposed of it in a trash can has been continued.

The principle reason appears to rest on a medical analysis of whether the newborn was alive or not when its mother threw it away like so much garbage. Legally whether the baby was "murdered" by being left naked and exposed in the trash bin to die or was already dead will have an impact on charges anbd potential punishment in the case.

Morally it is a horrible case in any event.
