A 23-year old was fined $100 for not having a vehicle under control as he held the leash on his lurcher dog while it trotted alongside as he drove slowly along a country lane. The man said it was "a silly thing to do and there was “an element of laziness.”

The dog was not harmed and actually seemed to enjoy the mechanically aided “walk.”
