Good News After San Diego's Tragic Story

After tragic news in San Diego a weeks-old baby was found safe Wednesday after he was abducted, police said, by a 19-year-old woman posing as a worker with the Florida Department of Children and Families.

The woman followed the child and parents home from a hospital visit and convinced them to take the child under guise of authority. The mother is Creole and speaks no English and the father has trouble communicating in English.

After the woman left the parents called the Sheriff and investigators swiftly ran her fingerprints, finding and arresting her and recovering the kidnapped infant at her mother's home - the mother was not involved.

The abductress who used bogus identification has been charged with kidnapping and is awaiting a bail hearing. She will be tried as an adult, and could face life in prison. No bail has yet been set.
