Charlie Sheen’s wife Brooke Mueller may have been mandated by the California Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) to check into rehab to retain custody of her 11th-month old twin boys. The 32-year-old mum was recently reported to have entered the celebrity rehabilitation facility The Canyon in Malibu over alleged substance abuse including alcohol and illicit drugs.
"Brooke would have entered into a voluntary maintenance contract which allows her to keep her kids providing she does XYZ. The courts then only becomes involved if she violates that contract.

Mueller's latest rehab stint comes after he and Husband Charlie Sheen got into a heated fight in the Aspen, Colorado, on Christmas Day. Sheen, real name Carlos Irwin Estevez, was arrested after Mueller called 911 and claimed that he held a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her. The actor was charged with domestic violence, spent Christmas Day in jail and posted an $8,500 bail bond.
