WARREN SAPP POST BAIL ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE MISDEAMENOR

Warren Sapp has made bail but couldn’t analyze the Super Bowl for the NFL Network after being arrested and charged with domestic battery in the alleged choking of his girlfriend in a Miami Beach hotel. Sapp, a defensive lineman who starred at the University of Miami before playing 13 years in the NFL, posted a $1,500 bond on the misdemeanor charge, the AP reported.
The couple fought before Sapp pushed the unidentified woman into a hallway and sent her a text message saying, "You whore," according to the police report. The onetime Dancing With the Stars contestant, who played for the Buccaneers and Raiders before retiring in 2008, told officers the woman fell while getting off the couch and hurt her leg, the Miami Herald reported.
